Sensex today | Stock Market LIVE Updates today, Wednesday, November 12, 2025: Stock markets in India were trading with solid gains on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex index was at 84,483 levels, rising 612 points or 0.73 per cent, while the Nifty50 was at 25,873, up 178 points or 0.69 per cent. IT stocks were leading from the front with Tech M up 3 per cent and TCS 2 per cent on the Sensex. Adani Ports, Infosys, Trent, Eternal, Reliance Industries, HCL Tech, Bajaj Finserv, Bharti Airtel, and Sun Pharma were the other gainers.
Meanwhile, in the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap index added 0.52 per cent and the Nifty SmallCap index 0.56 per cent. BSE (up 6 per cent), Max Financial Services, Oil India, Mphasis, 360One, L&T Finance, and Biocon were the top midcap gainers. Among sectors, the Nifty IT index added 2 per cent after US President Donald Trump said the US doesn’t have enough talent and needs foreign workers. Notably, the US is the biggest service outsouring market for the Indian IT industry. The Nifty Auto, Financial Services, and Pharma indices were the other major gainers. rising up to 1 per cent.
